The Company

Opulent Image Models, Inc is a non-profit production company with chapters at Barry University, Florida International University and Nova Southeastern University. We have been in operation for five years in South Florida. 

The Goal

Giving work experience to high school and college students through mentorships, production projects and events where students can apply their respective academic concentrations.

The Product

OIModels, Inc is a learning tool for students. Through OIModels, Inc students are expected to organize, coordinate and manage projects using core business practices. Our members apply business skills through fashion shows, multi-media advertising, marketing administration, event planning, product launch events, concerts, community projects, volunteerism and social media management.

The Approach

OIModels, Inc supprts student leadership with a “hands on” technique. We have an executive board at each school. Our student leaders are required to create and execute internal school events focussed on fashion and performance art. Our members are trained in public speaking, image management, conflict resolution, logistics, marketing, advertising, customer service and small business accounting. During the academic year we partner with local businesses to allow members a real life experience of the workplace.
